Acceptable Use Policy

engagelayer.io is built for legitimate B2B sales engagement. This policy describes uses that are not allowed.
1. Prohibited content
You may not use the assistant to publish, promote or distribute: illegal content, content that infringes intellectual property, content involving minors in any harmful context, hate speech, content that violates EU consumer protection law, or fraudulent claims.
2. Prohibited uses
No spam or unsolicited mass messaging. No use of the assistant to impersonate other companies. No regulated professional advice (medical, legal, financial) given to end users without proper licensing — the assistant must route those questions to a qualified human in your team.
3. Sensitive data
You agree not to load internal pricing, contracts, customer lists, employee records or unreleased product specs into the assistant. The platform is designed for public-facing engagement.
4. Security probes
You may not attempt to bypass platform security, extract other customers' data, perform load tests without prior agreement, or reverse-engineer the platform.
5. AI provider policies
The assistant runs on a third-party AI provider. You agree not to use it in ways that violate that provider’s usage policies (for example, generating disallowed content). We pass through and enforce those restrictions where they apply.
6. Enforcement
If we detect violations, we will contact you to clarify and remediate. Severe or repeated violations may result in suspension or termination — with notice where possible, immediately when required to protect users or the platform.
